Why Estate Fencing

Steel Estate Fencing is a long lasting and perfect solution to create a stylish fence or boundary in country estates, parklands or gardens. Estate fencing has a number of benefits over other forms of fencing, including the ability to follow the contours of the ground and create flowing curves following the boundary lines. Posts are driven approximately 800mm into the ground, with rails fully welded to create a very strong and permanent fencing soliton the will last l.
It will last for years, and despite popular myth, steel fences outlast timber equivalents by a multiple of time.

Supply Only

Wenham Young supply everything you need for your Estate Fence for landscapers, fencing contractors or individuals to install, reducing the costs.

Posts are driven into the ground approximately 800mm, and then rtails are threaded through before being cut to length and welded at eat post.

Depending on location it is sometimes more cost effective to purchase the rails from a local steel stock holder. Please call us to discuss and we can advise and help.

All supply only fencing is supplied unfinished

Supply & Install

Installation will be carried out by our own teams as we do not use contractors or third parties to initial our fences. At the start of the installation we will meet with you and agree exactly where the fence will be installed, discuss any potential issues. We will ask you to locate any services running near the fence line.

The nature of estate fencing allows the fence to follow the contours of the land and sweep around the boundary, and the exact height and line of the fence is adjusted to ensure a smooth and tidy appearance and this will typically involve ongoing discussions with customers.

We can supply optimal electric fence brackets where required. These can be secured to any of our fencing designs.

Paint Finishing (install only)

Wenham Young use a specialist two cost metal paint system> Typically black although the paint can be colour matched to any of the RAL or ISOXXXX colours.

As with all painting, the preparation is important to ensure a long lasting quality finish. Wenham Young pride themselves in a details three-part process, firstly wire wheeling all the fence posts and rails to remove any dirt or slag from the installation process.

All Posts and rails are them cleaned down using a panel wipe to remove any grease or fine dirt and provide a good key for the paint.
Two coats of direct to metal paint are then applied using a spay gun, from both sides of the fence, providing a very good coverage on the posts and rails.
Painting can only be done with the correct weather conditions ensuring good ambient temperature and dry conditions.
